Ever since I built my modern flyers decks, I've had an abundance of blue-white flying creatures that buffed each other, and so when I retired my Modern Agent Orange deck, I had an abundance of them and it made sense to craft them into a commander deck. The theme? An A-to-Z of birds; also partly inspired by the boardgame Wingspan, which I later borrowed some third party feather tokens for, to adpot into this commander deck which does focus on tokens on creatures. These tokens both enable the commander (Falco Spara, Pactweaver)'s mechanic, and also boost this winged tribal army.
This commander is simply there to expedite playing out cards from the top of your deck.
Within The Birds! you will find the Judge's Familiar from my earliest iteration of my modern flyer decks; along with Pride of the Clouds that always confused my opponents; a little more left-field is the inclusion of YORION! (inspired by my years watching CGB on YouTube), who is after all also a bird - and the hilarity of having a chicken with Forestwalk is not lost on me. Plus after I found the Monty Python secret lair version of Birds of Paradise; I had to include this spot-on reference to one of my favourite films.
By expanding into a third colour from my azorius origins, Interaction & Removal gets stronger, as does my ability to be Playing with Counters.
Like most of my decks, Graveyard Recursion is important; but the main non-creature expanse of the deck is all about enchantments - both in engaging with counters, and generally supporting the bird army. And finally there is Big Bird Spells which are just fun to occasionally cast and mess with the direction of the game.
Overall this deck is a casual deck with some entertaining elements to it. I also look to rule zero for The Raven's Warning to choose from three of the on-colour "of the" cards, inspired by my game-ending Steel of the Godhead, again from my modern deck.
